During an evaluation, Probe runs on E-Sharp's server in Sweden instead of on your own server. This article describes how that differs from a production installation and which terms apply. For the full description of Probe's architecture and data handling, see Data protection & security.

What stays the same

Probe contains no generative AI model and never contacts one.

Your AI assistant runs on your computer and talks to its model provider over your own internet connection, under your own account. That traffic does not pass through E-Sharp, and E-Sharp cannot see it.

What the assistant reads from Probe is sent to your model provider as part of the conversation. Which provider you use, and its terms for retention and training, is your choice.
Evaluation terms
By activating the VPN configuration you received from E-Sharp, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation.

Purpose. Access to the evaluation server is provided so that you can evaluate Probe. The evaluation period is one week unless otherwise agreed.

Access. The VPN configuration is personal and may not be shared or copied to other computers. Access ends when the evaluation ends.

Your data. You decide whether to upload your own designs. You confirm that you have the right to upload them. You keep all rights to your data.

E-Sharp's handling. E-Sharp stores your data on its server in Sweden, only for the evaluation. E-Sharp staff may access the server to run and support the evaluation, and will not use your data for any other purpose or share it with anyone else.

Deletion. Your uploaded designs and all data derived from them are deleted from the server when the evaluation ends, and your VPN access is revoked.

Your AI assistant. Your use of an AI assistant and its model provider is governed by your own agreement with that provider. If you use a personal plan, turn off the use of your chats for model training before using real design data.

Demonstration boards. E-Sharp's demonstration boards may only be used for the evaluation.
