Using Probe alongside a corporate VPN (evaluation server)

Problem

You already use a corporate VPN and are unsure whether the Probe tunnel will work at the same time, or the Probe connection stops working when the corporate VPN is on.

Solution

The two can normally run at the same time, because the Probe tunnel only routes traffic to a single address (10.102.0.10).

A conflict can occur if:

  • your corporate VPN routes all traffic through the company network, or

  • your own network already uses addresses in the 10.102.0.x range.

In either case, contact E-Sharp and we will adjust your configuration.

  • Connect to the Probe server (VPN)

  • VPN tunnel shows no handshake
